Ok. So.
In dealing with life in general, I neglected my websites longer than I intended to. I don't want to be someone who "codes and runs," so I'm gonna try to push some long overdue updates soon.
Starting, apparently, with a favicon. How did I not have one already?
I also picked up a copy of Web Pages That Suck: Learn Good Design by Looking at Bad Design a while back. It's full of 90s websites (not all of which suck, actually) to take "inspiration" from, and I've been really enjoying it so far.

I've got the styleswitcher up and running again and improved a couple of the themes a bit. I moved the style links into the "extrabar" so the Foo Bar theme can finally display in all of its three-column glory. It looks much better now.
I should also be able to change the default style whenever I want without it breaking like last time.
Now I can focus on putting up more site content! Or, more likely, not doing that. I'll probably just make some more silly stylesheets.

Finally got around to uploading my two latest fonts. If you need a good retro game font or generic "tech"-looking font, check out the font page. Still need to try to fix the styleswitcher problem and update the Pokémon stuff.
I had an idea to make a tool for calculating MarioKart 8 kart stats, but I never got too far with my attempt to learn JavaScript. So who knows if I'll ever get to it.
I really gotta fix that styleswitcher though. That was my favorite part of the site! I changed this to the Foo Bar theme mostly to have a more interesting site thumbnail, but it might be excessively green to some people.

I wanted to change the default style to The Foo Bar, but the styleswitcher script didn't like that. Since I can't seem to fix it, I've disabled the styleswitcher for now.

General Update

I'm trying to decide what I want to do with this site. Do I post general blog-type stuff or keep it to its current site-updates-only format? What about making a separate page for blog-type stuff? I dunno.
Anyway, I've decided to learn JavaScript as it's kind of a middle ground between my two major hobbies at the moment (web design and programming stuff). Once I know what I'm doing I'll overhaul the Pokémon Type Effectiveness calc.

New Theme - The Foo Bar

Added a new theme, because who needs content, right? It's based on a site a friend of mine made back in 2005. It's supposed to be a three-column layout, but I don't have anything to put in a third column yet. Maybe I should do affiliates or something.

Site Restructured

I decided to go ahead and finally add in the navigation bar I've had ready for this site, which meant moving everything off of this page and onto that. So now I have a more typical homepage for site updates and the like.
I don't really have anything new up yet and my Pokémon pages need some tweaking now that ORAS is out. As usual, most of the work I've done has been behind-the-scenes HTML and CSS work that pretty much nobody will ever notice. In fact, I ended up somehow spending more time working on Lily's Flower Garden while trying to get this update out.
Luckily, I do have one very visible new addition to the site: the styleswitcher. Click one of the Style links in the menu and completely change the look of my site. I'll write up a page about it sometime.
